THIS ARE THE WINNERS OF SERIELIZADOS 2025
Anatomía de un instante and A Better Man win the Best Series award in the National Official Section and International Official Section categories respectively, while Yakarta takes home two awards –Script and Performance– and Empathie three –Script, Performance and Young Jury– at the 12th Serielizados awards ceremony held last Saturday, November 9th at the CCCB in Barcelona.
ALAN BALL, INTERNATIONAL GUEST OF SERIELIZADOS 2025
The American screenwriter and director, creator of legendary series such as “Six Feet Under” and “True Blood,” will attend the festival to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the finale of “Six Feet Under,” considered one of the best series finales in recent history.
Alan Ball will offer a talk open to the public on November 8th to discuss his extensive career as a creator and the ongoing cultural impact of his series. The American screenwriter will also offer a masterclass as part of the Serielizados PRO program, the festival’s industry section.

WE UNVEIL THE WHOLE LIVE SCHEDULE
Serielizados – Barcelona Series Festival reveals the bulk of its in-person programming, including the four series competing in the National Official Section, the six series competing in the International Official Section of its 12th edition, and the remaining special sessions, tributes, masterclasses, and live podcasts.
In addition to international guests such as actors Ólafur Darri Ólafsson and Trine Dyrholm, who join the previously announced Sally Wainwright, creator of “Happy Valley,” the new edition of Serielizados will feature national guests such as Javier Cámara, Joaquín Reyes, Emma Vilarasau, and Leticia Dolera, among others.
Tickets for the new edition of Serielizados – Barcelona Series Festival, which this year will take place from November 3 to 12, are now on sale, along with the various subscriptions available.

PRO
The professional section of SERIELIZADOS will feature representatives from BBC Studios, Beta Film, ARTE France, SVT, YLE, ZDF, 3Cat, Eurimages, MEDIA, Filmin, EITB and Atresplayer, as well as a case study with the producers of the series Ravalejar and The Danish Woman.
There will also be masterclasses by Alan Ball (Six Feet Under, True Blood), Benedikt Erlingsson (The Danish Woman), Leticia Dolera (Pubertat) and Henriette Steenstrup (Perni, Nepobaby).
Serielizados PRO Pass will give you access to the several Masterclasses, a CoPro Pitch (‘Mind the Gap’) and an Industry Day. And also access to all screenings, talks and podcasts of Serielizados Fest. For only 80€.
The Industry Day will take place on the 6th of November at CCCB and will have panels and attendees from companies such as: ARTE, BBC Studios, Eurimages, MEDIA, Beta Film, Movistar+, Atresplayer, Filmin, EITB, Filmin, 3cat, RTVE, YLE, SVT, Konga, Slot Machine, Arcadia Motion Pictures.

MIND THE GAP is the international pitch for series co-productions, within the framework of Serielizados Fest. It is supported by the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (Generalitat de Catalunya) and the Fundación SGAE, through the Territorial Council of the Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE) in Catalonia. This initiative is also supported by ECAM (Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid), Seriencamp, Göteborg Film Festival, Swedish Institute, and the Embassy of Sweden in Spain.
The 10 projects selected for Mind the Gap will participate in this pitch in front of audiovisual industry professionals and an international jury composed of Sonja Hermele (SVT), Jarmo Lampela (YLE), Peter Lohner (Beta Film), Virginie Padilla (ARTE), and Diego del Pozo (Atresplayer). This jury, composed of commissioners, sales agents, and representatives from European broadcasters and platforms, will select a winning project, which will receive a prize of €5,500.
