A drama inspired by true events about the sinking of a fishing boat and the tireless struggle of the families to uncover the truth.
On January 15, 2004, the Bugaled Breizh, a Breton fishing boat, sank suddenly off the English coast, causing the death of its five sailors. Marie, the sister-in-law of one of the victims, connects the sinking to NATO military exercises and decides to become the spokesperson for the families of the missing, risking everything to uncover the truth.
Inspired by true events, 37 Seconds revisits the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the boat and its crew. A tragedy that reminded all humanity of the dangers of the sea and the terrible wait for a return that never came. Starring Nina Meurisse (La Fièvre, The Story of Souleymane) and Mathieu Demy (Mythomaniac, Club Zero), the series blends human drama with investigative thriller.
