The new docuseries by director Justin Webster, 'The Nazi Cartel', takes us to the 1980s and the intersection between drug trafficking and Nazi war criminals.
This year, Serielizados continues its strong commitment to documentaries with the premiere of the new docuseries directed by Justin Webster (Death in León), The Nazi Cartel, which will be available in full soon on SkyShowtime.
Set in 1980, the docuseries focuses on a notorious Nazi and a drug lord who overthrew the Bolivian government and established the first cocaine state, paving the way for figures like Pablo Escobar and today’s drug cartels. The story revolves around three men: the infamous Nazi war criminal Klaus Barbie; Roberto Suárez, a Bolivian businessman who at the time controlled 90% of the world’s cocaine trade; and DEA undercover agent Michael Levine, who aims to expose and destroy them.
