Serielizados Fest premieres in Spain one of the Swedish series of the year: the biopic of Jan Stenbeck, a telecommunications pioneer, not without his dose of controversies.

At 35, JanStenbeck seems to have it all: a successful career at Morgan Stanley, a glamorous life in New York, and a romance with socialite Merrill McCloud, until a family tragedy in Sweden forces him to take the helm of Kinnevik, his family’s industrial empire.
Rejecting its traditional legacy in steel and forestry, Jan applies bold ideas from the United States to transform Kinnevik into a telecom and media powerhouse, breaking Sweden’s telephone monopoly and launching TV3, Scandinavia’s first commercial channel. His relentless drive builds an $800 million empire, founding dozens of companies annually and positioning Sweden as a global communications leader. However, Jan’s vision sparks a bitter rivalry with his siblings, as the clash between tradition and innovation deepens old family wounds, leaving him isolated and alone, with a personal life as turbulent as his transformative achievements.
Vanguard, written by Alex Haridi, Lotta Erikson, and Helene Lindholm, and starring Jakob Oftebro (Kids in Crime), tells the story of a modern pioneer, blending the family rivalries of Succession with the festive 1980s vibe, marked by technological innovation and endless possibilities in a tale about the true cost of power.
