Serielizados will close its 12th edition with the screening of Sense filTRES, a 3Cat series that focuses on digital identity. Before the screening, the awards of the National and International Official Sections will be presented.
On Saturday, November 8, the closing of Serielizados Fest 2025 will take place at the CCCB Theater with a session that will include the award ceremony of the official competition sections and the screening of the series Sense filTRES. Sense filTRES consists of 9 episodes divided into three blocks of three chapters each.
The block that will be screened at the festival focuses on Charlie, a transgender teenager who uses artificial intelligence tools to alter his appearance when interacting on social media, reflecting identity conflicts and the pressure to maintain a virtual image far from reality. A series that explores all these themes through the phenomenon of sexting, the pressure of social networks, digital validation, and the dissonance between the online world and everyday life.
Sense filTRES is a series created by Ainhoa Bolaños, Aleix Mestre, Amaya Izquierdo, and Afioco Gnecco. The block to be shown at Serielizados is directed by Jiajie Yu Yan and features Nico Ariso, Asier Burgos, Mariona Naudin, Joan Solé Martí, and Daniel Mérida.
The cast and crew of the series will attend the screening.
