We celebrate the Showcase Short Form gala in a session where four projects by emerging talents will be screened.
The arrival of Serielizados Fest marks the celebration of the Showcase Short Form, organized in collaboration with the Zoom Festival. This initiative, now in its 12th edition, is a commitment to give visibility and projection to emerging talent in the creation of series and web series.
In this twelfth edition, Serielizados Fest Barcelona will screen the finalist projects in an exclusive session at the CCCB Theater, which will be presented by the communicator, collaborator of Som EVA and host of the podcasts Tranqui, Jo També and Xafogor, Carla Rubio.
The four projects of the Showcase Short Form are:
Pol i Obe by Robert Abecasis
“Pol is a dreamy and somewhat clumsy teenager, obsessed with winning over the girl he likes and being cool. But his life is interrupted by Obi, a mysterious, mischievous, and cynical entity that appears at the worst moment to sabotage him.”
Josemi Online Animado by Josemi Online
“A series of short films created by Josemi Online and animated by Rubén Del Pino, exploring themes such as pop culture, the internet, and everyday life, with humor and awkwardness as the connecting thread.”
(<3) by Norbert Palazón
“(<3) is an anthology of dating app chats. People who get carried away, fantasies you create for yourself, and, above all, those conversations that when you reread them you think: Why did I waste my time with this person?”
Storytellings with Emma by Emma Soler
“Storytellings with Emma” is a series of internet videos born from the doubts and reflections of a new adult of the 21st century. In front of the camera, I speak as I would with a friend, turning thoughts into art and, little by little, getting things out of my head.”
Approximate duration: 120 minutes.
The Young Jury Award will be presented at the awards gala of the Zoom Festival in Igualada.
