The twelfth edition of Serielizados, held from November 3 to 12 in person, once again consolidates itself as the most important series festival in the country and one of the biggest national audiovisual events, bringing together 16,000 attendees in Barcelona –seven thousand more than the 2024 edition– and thus achieving a historic growth of 80%.
The Barcelona International Series Festival also added 194,000 viewers in its online edition on Filmin, held from November 10 to 23, where 27 premiere series and documentaries were screened. Serielizados thus remains the second festival with the largest audience in Spain, surpassing 210,000 attendees across its onsite and online editions.
In this regard, Betu Molero, the festival’s codirector, points out: “In this 12th edition we have made the definitive leap to becoming the most important series festival in the country, growing in number of viewers and in content, with more than 35 premiere series, and with an international congress aimed at professionals (Serielizados Pro), which also positions the festival as a driving force in the national series industry.”
The festival organization announces that the 13th edition of the festival will kick off on October 20, 2026 at its usual venues in Barcelona.
