Premiere: ‘Missing in Murcia’ (Movistar Plus+)

In May 2013, former elite volleyball player Ingrid Visser and her husband, Lodewijk Severein, traveled to Murcia. She, pregnant, was visiting a fertility clinic; he had business to close. After checking into a hotel and heading to a rural accommodation, they disappeared without a trace. What at first seemed like an unsolved mystery soon uncovered a case mixing blood, money, sports, and mafia at the heart of the Region of Murcia.

This is how Missing in Murcia begins, the new ‘true crime’ story dissected by Carles Porta in this two-part Movistar Plus+ docuseries, which we are pleased to pre-premiere. Missing in Murcia reconstructs this real story with the trademark fast pace and rigor. The series will be screened in its entirety on the big screen exclusively at Serielizados, with its two episodes: from the first suspicions around the Murcia volleyball club to the appearance of new suspects in a story that shocked Spanish society.
