Serielizados hosts a masterclass, in collaboration with DAMA, about the series 'Pubertat'. The session will feature its creator and actress in the series, Leticia Dolera, along with Alba Muro and Núria Iturbe from the consulting firm Reversa, specialized in forensic psychology and managing violence and trauma.
Pubertat is an original Max series written by Leticia Dolera with the collaboration of Almudena Monzú as co-writer for three episodes and David Gallart as co-story writer for two episodes.
It is a production by Distinto Films, Corte y Confección de Películas, Uri Films, and 3Cat in co-production with the Belgian company AT-Productions. It is supported by the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (ICEC), the Creative Europe MEDIA program, and Eurimages.
What is ‘Pubertat’ about?
The harmony of a community is broken when a sexual assault report explodes on social media, pointing to three teenagers as responsible. This divides families, who are forced to face not only the truth but also their own limits and responsibilities. Tension rises and one question divides everything: Can a child be a sexual aggressor, or is it all a result of the confusion of adolescence?
The series stars Leticia Dolera (Vida perfecta, Requisitos para ser una persona normal), Xavi Sáez (Vida perfecta, Modelo 77), Betsy Túrnez (Vida perfecta, El rei borni), Alexandra Russo, Jean Cruz (La noche más larga, La cocinera de Castamar), David Vert (Com si fos ahir, El inocente), Biel Duran (Com si fos ahir, Cites Barcelona), Anna Alarcón (Esmorza amb mi, Los años nuevos), Lluís Marco (A muerte, Ventdelplà), and Vicky Peña (Libertad, Nit i dia), among others. The teenage cast includes Carla Quílez (La maternal) and debuting actors aged 13 and 14.
The series airs on HBO and 3Cat.
