When Gigi, who lives in Brussels, discovers that her mother, Anaïs, has rekindled her relationship with her ex (a man with whom she not only shared an intense love but also a past drug addiction), she gives her an ultimatum: choose between him or her lover. Faced with Anaïs’s refusal to decide, Gigi chooses to leave her home.
Putain takes us into Gigi’s life, addressing the struggles of a high school student’s precariousness through humor, absurdity, and anxiety. A powerful story about friendship and teenage determination, with an exceptional cast.
