‘Dreamers’

Dreamers follows an eclectic group of dance students as they experience the intense highs and lows of growing up in today’s complex world. Guided by their demanding —but passionate— teacher, Erica, these young members of the Chapeltown Collective must learn to overcome their differences in order to succeed in a high-level dance competition and face the tough pressures of the dance world.

Dreamers is rooted in real stories from Leeds and champions authenticity and resilience, with characters shaped through workshops and inspired by true experiences. Dreamers tackles relevant and hard-hitting themes while celebrating the determination and spirit of youth. The series offers an empathetic and energetic look at the city of Leeds and its vibrant community.
