We open the 12th edition of the Serielizados Festival with the screening of 'Anatomía de un instante', a Movistar Plus+ series competing in the National Official Section. With the presence of Álvaro Morte, Alberto Rodríguez and Fran Araujo.
With the 23-F coup d’état, which took place in Spain in 1981, as the narrative starting point, the series Anatomía de un instante dissects a key stage of Spain’s recent history: the transition. When Civil Guard Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Tejero entered Parliament pistol in hand, only three men remained seated in their chairs while the rest ducked for cover: Adolfo Suárez, Santiago Carrillo and Gutiérrez Mellado.
They are portrayed, respectively, by Álvaro Morte, Eduard Fernández and Manolo Solo, who lead a cast that also features Miki Esparbé as King Juan Carlos I and David Lorente as the coup leader Lieutenant Colonel Tejero. Anatomía de un instante adapts the novel of the same name by Javier Cercas and is directed by three-time Goya winner Alberto Rodríguez, who also writes alongside Rafael Cobos and Fran Araújo.
