‘Mind the Gap’ celebrates its 2nd edition as part of Serielizados PRO, Serielizados’ industry section, featuring representatives from Movistar Plus, 3Cat, Beta Film, ZDF Studios, Mubi, ARTE France, RTVE Play, The Mediapro Studios, Oble and DR Sales, as well as masterclasses by Steven Moffat and Sue Vertue, Hagai Levi, and Isabel Peña and Eduardo Villanueva.
The call for entries launched by Serielizados, the Zoom Awards and EVA seeks new talent in Catalan-language microseries, which will be showcased at Serielizados Fest and honored at the Zoom Awards Gala in Igualada.
The Scottish screenwriter will attend the festival accompanied by Sue Vertue to review his career in British television. Serielizados also reveals the premieres of ‘In Vitro’ and ‘Segunda temporada’, the closing event with ‘El principi d’Arquimedes’, and the 30th anniversary of ‘Nissaga de poder’.
'Mind the Gap' aims to help projects cover the final stretch of their financing, granting them international visibility and promoting European co-productions and international sales. The pitch will take place on October 21st at the headquarters of the Sociedad General de Autores y Editores and will be included within the activities of Serielizados PRO.
The Open Call presentation took place at the Série Mania festival. Serielizados 2026 will be held from October 19 to 28 in Barcelona and online.

The Barcelona International Series Festival has announced today the winning titles of its 12th edition.
Serielizados - Barcelona Series Festival will once again have an online edition on Filmin, from November 10 to 23, with the exclusive premiere of the first episodes of nearly thirty previously unreleased series, some of them in their entirety.
We regret to inform that Sally Wainwright will not be able to attend Serielizados 2025 due to unforseen circunstances and will not take part in the screening of her new series 'Rot Women'.
With these titles, Serielizados completes its programming, which features Alan Ball (Six Feet Under) and Sally Wainwright (Happy Valley), as well as the premiere of more than 40 national and international series.
The American creator will attend the festival, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the finale of 'Six Feet Under', considered one of the greatest series finales in television history. Serielizados also reveals the titles competing in the National Official Section: 'Anatomía de un instante', 'Argi Gorriak', 'Los 39', and 'Yakarta'. The closing series will be 'Sense filTRES'.
The initiative celebrates its first edition within Serielizados PRO, the industry section of the Barcelona Series Festival, which this year will feature the participation of representatives from BBC Studios, Beta Film, ARTE France, SVT, YLE, ZDF, 3Cat, Eurimages, MEDIA, Filmin, EITB and Atresplayer, as well as a case study with the producers of the series Ravalejar and The Danish Woman. In addition, Serielizados will offer masterclasses by Sally Wainwright and Leticia Dolera.
The festival will be held from November 3 to 12 at the CCCB, Mooby Aribau cinemas and CASA SEAT, and from 10 to 23 at Filmin. Sally Wainwright, a reference in British fiction (‘Happy Valley’, ‘Gentleman Jack’), is the first international guest of Serielizados 2025. After its screening at Serielizados Fest 2024 with two in-person screenings, the documentary 'Getting LOST' will be available on Filmin from December 31 to January 6.
Serielizados Fest 2024 reaches 214,000 spectators in its in-person and online editions. The Festival continues to grow and exceeds by a thousand spectators the previous edition.
