Serielizados PRO, the industry section of Serielizados – Barcelona TV Series Festival, announces its line-up and the 11 selected projects for the second edition of Mind the Gap, the international pitch for series co-productions that, following last year’s success, continues with the same goal of helping projects cover the final stretch of their financing, giving them visibility, and fostering European co-productions and worldwide sales. The initiative targets first seasons of high-quality series or miniseries currently in development or pre-production.
The selected projects will take part in this pitch before audiovisual industry professionals and will receive feedback from an international jury comprising this year: Ben Driscoll (Head of Programming and Chief Series Curator at MUBI), Cristina Merino (Executive Producer and Content Executive at Movistar Plus+), Susana Herreras (Head of Original Production Editorial at Movistar Plus+), Peter Lohner (Vice President of International and Hispanic Acquisitions at Beta Film), Susanne Frank (Director of Drama at ZDF Studios), and Virginie Béjot (Interactive Commissioning Editor at ARTE France).
This jury will select a winning project, which will receive a prize of 5,500 euros supported by Triodos Bank and the Fundación SGAE. Additionally, the Konga Music Agency Award will be awarded, granting 2,000 euros to be used within the Konga Music Agency Production Music library for a Spanish project.

Audiovisual451 Award
Audiovisual451 will present an award at Serielizados PRO, hosting the inaugural edition of this accolade created to recognize and highlight the best of the domestic audiovisual industry over the past year.
In this first edition, the Audiovisual451 Award at Serielizados PRO will recognize, in the words of Irene Jiménez, co-founder of the publication, “the joint efforts of the acquisition department at HBO Max in Spain and the fiction department at 3Cat for greenlighting some of the most relevant series of recent years, such as Pubertat and Ravalejar, in addition to In Vitro this year, both for the themes they tackle and their production value. In these times of fierce competition among operators, budget constraints, and editorial cancellations, it is commendable that a streaming platform and a public broadcaster managed to prioritize these projects over their differences to make these co-productions possible.”
32nd Miniput – Quality Television Showcase
Serielizados – Barcelona TV Series Festival will also host a new edition of Miniput, Barcelona’s Quality Television Showcase, running continuously since 1994. It consists of a 12-hour marathon screening the most innovative series and TV formats from public service broadcasters worldwide, selected from INPUT.
The new edition of Miniput will take place at the CCCB on Friday, October 23. This year’s lineup will be announced shortly.
