We celebrate the 30th anniversary of the premiere of one of the most beloved and revolutionary Catalan series, with the presence of some of its most iconic actors.
On January 28, 1996, Nissaga de poder premiered on TV3. The series, created by Josep Maria Benet i Jornet, followed the turbulent lives, ambitions, and dark secrets of the Montsolís family, a lineage of landowners in the cava sector of the Penedès region. Throughout 476 episodes divided into three seasons, the plot explores human passions, family betrayals, and the power struggles of its characters, combining classic melodrama with high-intensity plot twists that kept the entire audience on the edge of their seats.
Nissaga de poder was an unprecedented success both critically and in terms of viewership, breaking audience records and establishing itself as one of the most iconic and influential productions in the history of Catalan television, standing out for the audacity of its scripts and the impact of its characters.
