The professional section of Serielizados hosts several activities aimed at workers in the audiovisual sector.
Throughout the main day of Serielizados PRO, on October 22, the Auditori del CCCB will become the meeting point for professionals in the audiovisual industry, featuring a program focused on current affairs and key trends in European television, hosted by Elena Neira. Sessions will cover production, distribution, financing, development, and new digital strategies.

The lineup will feature a case study dedicated to two successful co-productions, In Vitro (3Cat, HBO Max) and Segunda temporada (Filmin), with the participation of Alejandra Guimerá (Moiré Films), Anna Philippon (Bullfrog Pictures), Marina Padró (Rodar y Rodar), Bernat Manzano (Boogaloo Films), and Marta Cruañas (CANADA).
There will also be two Meet the Commissioners sessions with content executives presenting the latest developments and strategic focus of their respective channels and platforms. Speakers will include Virginie Béjot (ARTE France) and Alberto Fernández (RTVE Play).
European distribution will take center stage in the panel State of Distribution, bringing together Béatrice Nouh (The Mediapro Studios), Ella Glantz (DR Sales), Katia Sol (Oble), and Peter Lohner (Beta Film) to analyze key current trends and challenges in the European market.
Music will have its own dedicated space with a session on building a series’ musical universe, moderated by Konga Music Agency. Additionally, a case study on financing presented by Triodos Bank will examine the success story of the series Pubertad (HBO Max, 3Cat), featuring Miriam Porté, founder and producer at Distinto Films.
The panel discussion Where to Kickstart Your Project will highlight the role of festivals in developing new series. Helena Reiche (Seriencamp), Roosa Toivonen (Tallinn Black Nights), Samuel Castro (Iberseries), and Víctor Sala (Serielizados) will share insights and experiences on how festivals support projects in development.
Serielizados PRO will also host a session titled Talk to a Serial Eye—a conversation with Alexander Lindh, co-creator of A Better Place, a series selected for this year’s Official International Competition at Serielizados. The discussion will be moderated by Katrin Merkel (Serial Eyes).
Finally, Serielizados PRO will host a networking lunch connecting production companies from PROA (Federation of Audiovisual Producers) with commissioners and representatives from Spanish and European networks and platforms. The day will conclude with a closing party featuring the Mind the Gap awards ceremony.
