Santa Eulària des Riu will live the premiere in Spain of this new French police series. It will be in the first edition of the Serielizados Fest on the island of Ibiza.
Paris Police 1900 is a fascinating crime story about the French society that welcomed the twentieth century in a convulsive capital such as the ‘City of Light’. The plot of the series begins with the discovery of the corpse of a girl in the middle of the Seine River. Soon, the police investigation will uncover the secrets of a state conspiracy deeper than they imagine.

The series takes us into the heart of a country at a time of drastic change. A France living a great political and social tension derived from the infamous ‘Dreyfus Case’, denounced by the writer Emile Zola in his famous public plea ‘J’accuse…!’. A case that aroused a strong wave of anti-Semitism and shook the foundations of the system of the then French Third Republic.
Paris Police 1900 is a series whose ambitious workmanship is evident in every scene. Its creator is the screenwriter, playwright and cartoonist Fabien Nury, who wrote the comic book The Death of Stalin on which the funny film of the same name by Armando Ianucci (Veep) was based.
