11 projects participate in the second edition of Mind the Gap, an international pitch for series co-productions created to help secure the final phase of their financing, providing visibility and encouraging European co-productions and international sales.
The 11 projects selected for Mind the Gap will pitch in front of audiovisual industry professionals and an international jury formed by Ben Driscoll (Head of Programming and Lead Curator of Series at MUBI), Cristina Merino (Executive Producer and Content Executive at Movistar Plus), Susana Herreras (Head of Original Production at Movistar Plus), Peter Lohner (VP of International and Hispanic Acquisitions at Beta Film), Susanne Frank (Director Drama at ZDF Studios), and Virginie Béjot (Interactive Commissioning Editor at ARTE France).
This jury, composed of commissioners, sales agents, and representatives from European channels and platforms, will select a winning project that will receive a €5,500 prize, sponsored by Triodos Bank and Fundación SGAE.
Additionally, among the Spanish projects, one winning project will be granted rights to use music from the Konga Music Agency catalog up to a total value of €2,000.
Out of the 11 projects selected for the pitch, 8 were chosen by a committee appointed by the organization following an open call. The remaining projects were invited by the Seriencamp festival (Cologne, Germany), ECAM Forum, and Iberseries.

Mind the Gap is supported by the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (Generalitat de Catalunya) and the SGAE Foundation, through the SGAE Territorial Council in Catalonia, and Triodos Bank. The initiative also features the collaboration of ECAM (School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid), Konga Music Agency, Sarao Music, the Seriencamp festival in Cologne (Germany), the Göteborg Film Festival, the Swedish Institute, and the Embassy of Sweden in Spain.
The pitch will take place at the headquarters of the Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE) in Catalonia, hosted by Elena Neira.
