We celebrate the Microseries Showcase gala in a session where five projects by emerging talents will be screened.
The arrival of Serielizados brings a new edition of the Microseries Showcase, an initiative organized by Serielizados and the Zoom Awards of Igualada, in collaboration with the platform EVA and AVisual PRO.
As part of the festival’s 13th edition, this session reaffirms its commitment to boosting content creation in Catalan, acting as a showcase and launching pad for new creators. In this exclusive session, the best selected proposals in short format will be screened, ranging from fiction to documentary, in both vertical and horizontal formats.
The session will also feature the presence of their authors and will compete for the EVA Award and the Young Jury Award – AVisual PRO, which will be presented later at the Zoom Awards Gala of Igualada.

BARNA RUPESTRE by Lucía Mercader, Sara Guixé

‘Neocurros’ are jobs so eclectic and innovative that not even the ‘neoworkers’ themselves fully understand the point of what they do. In the microseries, employees of NEOCURRASSA show the reality of their trades while trying to justify the point of working on absurd and useless tasks. In the presented pilot, we meet Emili, who works as a ‘street tester’: lying down on uncomfortable street furniture.
