We open the 13th edition of Serielizados with 'In vitro', an 3Cat and HBO Max series that explores the ethical, social, and personal dilemmas linked to fertility in the 21st century. With the presence of its creative team.
With the daily life and dilemmas of an assisted reproduction clinic in Barcelona as the narrative starting point, the series In vitro dissects key issues of today’s society from a human and highly ironic perspective: the search for parenthood and motherhood through science. When a 37-year-old biologist starts working in the laboratory, it triggers a clash of professional and ethical visions that will challenge the certainties of both patients and the doctors themselves.
They, the embryologist Blanca and her rational colleague Héctor, are played, respectively, by Bruna Cusí and David Verdaguer, who lead a cast that also includes María Pujalte, Diana Gómez, Alain Hernández, Francesc Ferrer, Peter Vives, and Anna Bertran.
In vitro is a series created by Alejandra Guimerà and Marc Crehuet, who also serves as director and writes the scripts alongside Carmen Marfá, with the participation of Natalia Boadas and Víctor Sala.
