Serielizados premieres 'Justo: El poder d’una veu', a new docuseries from 3Cat that traces the life and career of the popular broadcaster Justo Molinero, founder and president of Grupo TeleTaxi.
For over forty years, Justo Molinero has built a media empire from the margins. Born into a humble family in Andalusia, a former mechanic, taxi driver, and tireless entrepreneur, he understood earlier than anyone the potential of an immigrant community that couldn’t find its voice in traditional media. The result was Radio TeleTaxi: a mass phenomenon capable of mobilizing millions of people, filling venues, and turning its founder into one of the most influential broadcasters in the country.
Now, after handing over control of the station to his daughter Andrea, Molinero looks back and revisits the moments that defined his career: his meteoric rise, his controversial relationship with political power, his major business triumphs, the crises that put everything at risk, and the personal cost of a life spent staying at the top.
Directed by Amanda Sans and produced by 3Cat in collaboration with Incís, ‘Justo: el poder d’una veu’ features intimate access to the protagonist and those who have been part of his universe. A documentary that portrays the man behind the myth and the legacy of a figure who transformed popular communication in Catalonia forever. Featuring appearances by Estopa, Los Chunguitos, Diana Navarro, María del Monte, Anna Simon, Lorena Castell, Gabriel Rufián, Jordi Pujol, José Montilla, and Artur Mas, among others, the documentary gathers privileged insights from people who closely experienced a phenomenon that went far beyond radio.
