Closing session: ‘Episòdic: El principi d’Arquimedes’

The Phenomena cinema will host the closing session of Serielizados Fest 2026. The day will include the premiere of Episòdic: El principi d’Arquimedes, the first season of Episòdic, the new anthology series promoted by betevé and the Barcelona City Council and produced by Serielizados.

Composed of six fifteen-minute episodes, Episòdic: El principi d’Arquimedes adapts the acclaimed homonymous play by Josep Maria Miró, one of the most internationally performed contemporary Catalan plays. Set in a swimming club, the story explores how an apparently innocent gesture triggers a spiral of suspicion, prejudice, and fear surrounding an alleged case of child abuse, inviting the viewer to question their own certainties.

The series is directed by Ainhoa Lastra, Andrea Morales, and Carlos R. Haro, with a script by Daniel Duran, Marta Lorenzo, and Ariadna Puértolas. The cast is led by Albert Salazar, alongside Joan Esteve, Anna Ycobalzeta, Iván Morales, Sofia Massa and Aitana Ropero. The production is part of Episòdic, a project that brings together students from universities and audiovisual schools in Barcelona to develop a professional series based on the adaptation of contemporary plays.

The artistic and technical team of the series will attend the screening to present the project and share with the audience the creative process of one of the most unique productions of this festival edition.
