Serielizados Fest premieres ‘Roni’, the new animated series by Juanjo Saez, with the presence of its creator and the team of the series.
Juanjo Sáez (Barcelona, 1972) is an illustrator and cartoonist. His first incursions in the world of illustration were through fanzines such as Círculo primigenio, and since then Sáez has published his provocative cartoons in all the important newspapers of the country. After his successful first animated series for television, Arròs covat (which won the 2010 Ondas Award), Saez returns to give us a small animated wonder with Roni.
Roni is a young and insecure painter from Barcelona who, amidst delusions of grandeur, dreams of becoming the most important artist of all time. Supported by his colleagues, a very special neighbor, an overprotective mother and the appearance of the most representative figures of the art world, both living and dead, this sort of “new Picasso” will try to get his first big break.
