The 9th edition of Serielizados Fest Barcelona will close with a party dedicated to the legacy of ‘La ruta del bakalao’, with djs Fran Lenaers and Luis Costa.

After the screening of ‘La Ruta‘ (ATRESplayer PREMIUM) we will go dancing with the sessions of the legendary Fran Lenaers and Luis Costa at the Pati de les Dones of the CCCB. Open air, 90’s electronica and beer, that’s how we’ll close this 9th Fest!

Whoever wants to enjoy this party and the preview of ‘La Ruta’, can buy a double ticket on this page. If you are only interested in the party, you are on the right page.

Bakala party at the Spook in Valencia.

La Ruta Destroy (aka Ruta del Bakalao) was not only music and entertainment. This free access to music and culture was a colonization of public space by the working class. A social phenomenon that annoyed and was persecuted until its end in 1996. In addition to being a lysergic escape route for thousands of Spaniards with endless desire to party.

That’s why, after the screening of ‘La Ruta’ we couldn’t miss the opportunity to relive that atmosphere with two local DJs who had (and still have) the desire to throw beats: Fran Lenaers and Luis Costa.

Lenaers, músico, DJ, y miembro fundador de la formación valenciana de música electrónica, Megabeat, es uno de los referentes de la Ruta Destroy. Fue el DJ residente de la sala Spook Factory, uno de los locales más conocidos de la ruta.

Lenaers, musician, DJ, and founding member of the Valencian electronic music band Megabeat, is one of the benchmarks of the Destroy Route. He was the resident DJ at Spook Factory, one of the best known locals of the route.

Costa, author of theBacalao! Historia oral de la música de baile en Valencia, 1980-1995 book, is a journalist, DJ, press officer at Razzmatazz Clubs, where he is also resident DJ at Sala Lolita, and programmer at Sala Feedonia in Barcelona.

Well, now all that’s left to do is to get out the Boy London or Destroy T-shirts, the New Balance or Nike Air Max sneakers and a few hats to match. It’s time to dance.

Access to the closing party will be through C/ Montalegre, 5.
