Norway in the future. Anton and Emma are 16 years old and live in the same city, but in different climate zones. They should never have met, let alone fallen in love. But when they do, they will both put their worlds in danger in order to be together.
Dome 16 is a series about a dystopian future, set in the city of Oslo around the year 2140, where the most privileged inhabitants of the earth have installed themselves in domes to protect themselves from pandemics, extreme weather, pollution and social unrest.
One of them is Anton, an obedient and curious teenager who in an act of rebellion escapes from the dome and ends up meeting Emma, a girl who lives in the outside world. Winner of three awards at Gullruten, this original international co-production did not need to travel to find its spectacular locations as it was shot in and around Oslo.
