Toni Alma, a brilliant detective, will have to face her past when she is assigned to investigate a murder in the Aboriginal community where she grew up
True Colours tells the story of detective Toni Alma, a 35-year-old woman who seems to have her life all figured out in Alice Springs, where she enjoys a good status and a good job.
But everything changes when she is assigned to investigate a suspicious car accident in Perdar Theendar, the Aboriginal community she left as a child and has had little to do with since.
As clues bring her closer to her own family, Toni will have to learn to navigate between the laws that separates whites from Aborigines, in order to find a killer who seems to be very close to home.
