Sweetheart tells the story of Chanelle, a teacher who dangerously falls in love with Sandrick, her new 17-year-old student.
Chanelle Chouinard is a 38-year-old French teacher adored by her students and full of consideration for them. When her marital bliss begins to wane, she devotes most of her time to school.
In her class, a new pupil, Sandrick, stands out from the others. Coming from a difficult family background, Chantelle sees in him something brilliant and touching. That’s why she doesn’t hesitate to take him under her wing when Sandrick has problems at home.
But things get complicated when she begins to feel attracted to him, starting a love affair that is as passionate as it is illicit.
