Everything I Know About Love is a British comedy based on Dolly Alderton memoirs, adapted by the author herself.
The series follows Maggie as she navigates her newfound life in London (years after leaving college without a steady job and lots of dreams) hand in hand with her partner in crime and best friend, Birdy, and the fun-loving Amara and Nell. Eager to embrace all that the metropolis has to offer them, the series shows us the “golden years” of this group of friends, in which we see wonderfully fictionalized the author’s memories. An adaptation that uses her reference work as a springboard, but remarkably maintains the essence of Alderton and her tale of the shared experience of the millennial generation.
Everything I Know About Love is the perfect series for all fans of titles like The Sex Lives of College Girls, Girls5Eva, Broad City, Sex and the City or Girls. And it never hurts to have a series that reminds us how beautiful it is to celebrate female friendship in all its messy, brilliant and chaotic splendor.
