The screening of the five finalist of the 9th Showcase de Pilotos de Serie will take place at CentroCentro.
The arrival of Serielizados Fest also means the celebration of the Showcase of Series Pilots, co-organized with the International Festival of Audiovisual Content of Catalonia (Zoom Festival). This initiative, which this year reaches its 9th edition, is a commitment to give visibility and projection to emerging talent in the creation of series and webseries.
Serielizados Fest Madrid will screen the five finalist pilot chapters in an exclusive session at the CentroCentro Auditorium preceded by the Official Section awards gala. The audience will also have the opportunity to cast their vote and choose their favorite Showcase project. The Audience Award will be announced after adding these votes and those of the screening programmed at Serielizados Fest Madrid.
The five finalists of this 9th edition of the Series Pilot Showcase are:
- ‘Pringadas‘ (Belén Puime Bao)
- ‘Pocos, buenos y seguros‘ (Thomas Barrera Howarth)
- ‘El polígono‘ (Thomas Barrera Howarth)
- ‘Lisa‘ (Ingride Santos y Raquel Barrera)
- ‘Cosas de ratas‘ (Borja Pakrolsky)
A professional jury – made up of screenwriters and specialists in audiovisual culture – will award the Jury Prize, sponsored by DAMA and valued at €1,500, at the closing gala of the 19th International Festival of Audiovisual Content of Catalonia (Zoom Festival) to be held from November 23 to 28.
