Serielizados Fest, which closed its seventh edition last night, has been followed by more than 152,000 viewers through its online programming platform, Filmin, and the Serielizados Youtube Channel, in addition to the more than 2,000 spectators who have attended the sessions scheduled in Madrid and Barcelona.
Thus, in its hybrid edition, held between October 20 and 29, the Serielizados fest has become the third festival with the largest online following in the country, while it has established itself as the great bet in the promotion and dissemination of series for audiovisual platforms and operators.
About this seventh edition, Víctor Sala, co-director says: “Due to responsibility we had to limit the number of screenings in both Barcelona and Madrid. And the alliance with Filmin was a natural decision. We had the intuition that the online edition would work well and that many people would discover the programming lineup this year, but we didn’t imagine that we would become the third most followed online festival in Spain”.
For her part, Betu Martínez, comments: “The pandemic forced us to rethink the classic programming model in a very complicated year where, paradoxically, we had the edition with the greatest impact and the most spectators. The hybrid festival model, combining online and on-site, is here to stay”.

In this edition, the Serielizados Fest, has premiered more than 20 great series through its online platform, highlighting Everything’s gonna be okay (USA, 2020), the new series by screenwriter and actor Josh Tomas, and the Lebowskian comedy We got this (Sweden, 2020), which have won the Reteena Young Jury and Official Jury awards respectively.
As a novelty this year, the Serielizados Fest has offered users the possibility to enjoy the Virtual Show sessions through the Youtube channel, where there have been in-depth talks with many international talent such as Damon Lindelof, Rodrigo Garcia, Sally Wainwright, Josh Thomas and Simon Stalenhag.
