Serielizados Fest announces the dates of its sixth edition, which will take place from the 25th to the 29th of September of 2019 in Barcelona. Most of its program will take place at CCCB, which has been its main venue since 2017.
As big news this year, the festival will start a parallel Madrid edition on the 28th and 29th of September at the Palacio de la Prensa. Serielizados Fest Madrid will screen most of the Panorama section (international series premieres), and it will also feature international guests (renowned showrunners) and talks between local creators.
El Palacio de la Prensa is one of the most emblematic in the Spanish capital, and a key point in the Madrid Gran Via. Because of this venue’s history and location, there is no better place for the first edition of Serielizados Fest Madrid to take place.
Serielizados Fest, a consolidated idea
On it sixth edition, Serielizados Fest will maintain the sections that have always articulated it: Pro Session (meeting point for Spanish and European TV agents); Panorama Section (international series premieres); Main guests (renowned showrunners with upcoming projects); Pilots Showcase (young national talent competition); Documentaries (features about TV pop culture unreleased in Spain); Masterclass (taught by showrunners and aimed to media and cinema students).
In previous editions we have hosted showrunners such as David Simon (The Wire, Generation Kill, The Deuce), Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), Ludovica Rampoldi (Gomorrah, 1992), Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty, Community) or Javier Olivares (El Ministerio del Tiempo).
