NEW CONFIRMATIONS SERIELIZADOS FEST
Serielizados Fest announces new confirmations, including the international premiere of the Chilean ‘La Jauría‘, the new series by the Larraín brothers (El Club, No), inspired by the case of “La Manada” and featuring transgender actress Daniela Vega (Una mujer fantástica) in its cast. And ‘Studio Tarara‘, the new creation of two-time International Emmy winner Tim Van Aelst, who will come to present the series in preview to Fest attendees.
Another of the big news is the Spanish premiere of ‘Monzón‘, the Argentine series that fictionalizes the true story of Carlos Monzón, the historic boxer who was imprisoned in 1988 for murdering his wife, actress Alicia Muñiz. And ‘Sluga Naroda‘ (A Servant of the People), a series that starred comedian Volodymir Zelenski before he became President of Ukraine last May.
One of the star activities will be the session ‘Money Heist: How to stage a heist’, in which four of the main editors of the Netflix series will unfold before the public the tricks they use to stage a real heist in one of the most watched and acclaimed fictions of recent years. This session will take place at the Barcelona edition and will be open to the public.
The announced tribute to the Catalan series ‘Plats Bruts‘, which this year celebrates the 20th anniversary of its premiere on TV3, will be attended by actors Joel Joan (David), Mònica Glaenzel (Emma) and Lluís Villanueva (Ramon) and screenwriters Sergi Pompermayer and Mercè Sarrias.
At the end of August, the organization will announce the rest of the program in Barcelona and Madrid.
