A journalist returns to his hometown to investigate the murder his childhood love is accused of.
Adam Vollmann, 40, works as a journalist for a major national newspaper. One morning, the portrait of Axel Challe, identified as the prime suspect in the murder of a young woman in Guerches-sur-Isoire, appears on the television screen in front of him. Convinced that his childhood love is innocent of the crime he’s accused of, he returns to the town where he grew up and from which he fled.
Erwan Le Duc adapts the novel by Fabrice Humbert, starring the brilliant Niels Schneider, known for his role in Blood and Money and a regular in Claire Denis’s films. A series filled with absurdity, tragicomedy, and intriguing, complex characters.
