Second day at Serielizados PRO, in this case at SGAE Catalunya, with talks by Jakob Rørvik, creator of ‘Dates in Real Life’; Roberto Bra, editor of the series ‘Celeste’, ‘Delta’ and ‘Yo, adicto’; and meetings with festival programmers, among other activities.
The second day of Serielizados PRO will offer a masterclass, in collaboration with SAE CEV (official schools of the festival and leaders in creative media), with Jakob Rørvik, creator of the Norwegian series Dates in Real Life, selected in the International Official Selection out of competition of this edition of Serielizados Fest. Under the title Dates in Real Life: A Metaverse Story, Rørvik will talk about the use of the Unity graphic engine in the post-production process of the series, which mixes live action and 3D animation. Serielizados PRO will also host a session on editing and postproduction, with the collaboration of Antaviana VFX, by Roberto Bra, editor of the series Celeste, Delta and I, Addict, all three of which are selected for the festival’s National Official Competition Section. The session will also include the participation of Marc Dominici, Postproduction Supervisor at Antaviana VFX, and will be moderated by AMMAC – Associació de Muntadores i Muntadors Audiovisuals de Catalunya.
A session will be dedicated as a talk with three prominent programmers of international festivals: Carlo Fasino (Séries Mania, France), Nicole Barker (SeriesFest, USA) and Maral Mohsenin (Geneva International Film Festival, Switzerland). The round table will be moderated by Víctor Sala, co-director of Serielizados Fest. There will also be a new Meet the Commissioners with Fernando López-Puig, Executive Producer of RTVE Fiction, and Alberto Fernández, Director of RTVE Play. The day will end with a talk on private investment in the audiovisual sector with Film Financing Market, by Norbert Llaràs and Jordi Mendieta (Film Financing Market), and a round table on accessibility in VOD platforms, in collaboration with Clúster Audiovisual, with Geni de Vilar (3Cat), Juan Carlos Tous (Filmin) and Anna Maria Martin (Multisignes), and moderated by Estel·la Oncins (Accescat).
