Serielizados Fest exclusively premieres this rural eco-thriller set in the Ebre Delta and whose starting point is the investigation of the disappearance of an environmental activist
The Ebre Delta is the setting for this rural eco-thriller starring a journalist going through a difficult personal time and investigating the mysterious disappearance of an environmental activist. There she will meet Meri, one of the few women in the area who works sailing boats, and whose father seems to be the main suspect in the case.
Delta is the first fiction series shot in Terres de l’Ebre. Created and directed by David Gonzàlez, with experience in other titles such as Moèbius or Merlí Sapere Aude, and co-written by Laia Foguet (Crims), the series also deals with the problems of the natural space of the Delta and the threat of its destruction due to climate change through a narrative that combines the codes of the thriller with the identity drama or social commentary.
The cast of Delta is composed by Meritxell Calvo, Raquel Ferri, Pep Tosar, Lluís Marquès, Sergi Gibert, Cristina Fernández, Martín Atance, Carles Roig, Carol Rovira or Mercè Comes, among others.
The series is produced by 3Cat, Veranda and Suica Films, with the participation of À Punt Mèdia.
