Serielizados Fest premieres in Spain ‘Home in You’, an emotional series about how a crisis threatens to divide a fractured family and community.
The Haddad family is on the brink of eviction as gentrification pushes them out of Smedsby, their suburb in Stockholm. As they struggle to find a new home during the idyllic Swedish summer, the family clashes with each other and their surroundings. The immigrant parents from Lebanon try to understand their children, who are more integrated and face the challenges of adolescence and dual identities.
Amidst these circumstances, the family embarks on a journey of self-discovery, searching not only for a new home but also for a sense of belonging within their own family unit.
Driven by the unique perspective of its creators – who pour their own stories into the plot – Home in You is a series that sheds light on social issues related to immigration and gentrification, delicately balancing serious themes with humor and warmth.
