A frustrated couple with the film industry and acting decide to parody national cinema scenes to succeed, but their plan spirals out of control when their relationship becomes a parody itself.
Ramiro and Vivi have been dating for years. He is a frustrated film director, and she is an unlucky actress, and both have put aside starting a family to focus on succeeding.
One night, while watching La ciénaga by Lucrecia Martel, they come up with an idea: to ride the success of others by wildly parodying iconic scenes from national cinema. But the plan spirals out of control when their own relationship starts to become a parody.
