Serielizados Fest premieres in Spain the Swedish series ‘Pressure Point’, a fascinating and chilling story based on real events.
Directed by Sanna Lenken and written by Pelle Rådström from the book by Elisabeth Åsbrink ‘Smärtpunkten’, the series takes us back to 1998, when world-renowned playwright Lars Norén and producer Isa Stenberg are invited to a prison to collaborate with three long-term convicts.
Dazzled by Norén’s fame and filled with optimism, the convicts stop at nothing to make the project a reality.
The prison management views the theatrical work as rehabilitation. The project, titled ‘7:3’, becomes an unstoppable process where safety concerns and preventive control mechanisms are gradually set aside. The result: a legendary theatrical performance, a heated public debate, and a double murder that remains an open wound in contemporary Swedish history and an unresolved ethical dilemma.
