'Pressure Point' | Serielizados

Serielizados Fest premieres in Spain the Swedish series ‘Pressure Point’, a fascinating and thrilling story based on true events.

Directed by Sanna Lenken and written by Pelle Rådström from Elisabeth Åsbrink’s bookSmärtpunkten’, the series is set in 1998, when world-famous playwright Lars Norén and producer Isa Stenberg are invited to a prison to collaborate with three long-terms convicts.

Dazzled by Norén’s fame and full of optimism, the convicts stop at nothing to make the project a reality. The prison management sees the theatrical work as rehabilitation. The project, entitled 7:3, becomes an unstoppable process in which all security concerns and preventive control mechanisms are gradually set aside. The result: a legendary theatrical performance, a heated public debate and a double murder that to this day remains an open wound in contemporary Swedish history and an unresolved ethical question mark.
