We celebrate the 20th anniversary of the premiere of one of the most valued Catalan series, with the presence of its creator and main actors: Joel Joan, Anna Sahun, Roger Coma and Mercè Martínez
On November 25th, 2004, Porca Misèria premiered on TV3. It was only two years after the end of such a resounding success as Plats bruts and Joel Joan changed of register with an author’s series about the daily life and personal relationships of a group of urbanites in their thirties: the couple formed by Pere and Laia, who lived together with a pet pig; Roger, Pere’s brother, a successful businessman who was in a relationship with Sònia and started a love affair with Natàlia; or the bon vivant Àlex, who lived on a boat in the port of Barcelona.
The series lasted four seasons, was a critical and audience success and represented a paradigm shift in the possibilities of producing series in Catalan. To celebrate the anniversary, Serielizados Fest hosts a reunion with the creator and director of the series and a large part of the main cast: Joel Joan (Pere), Anna Sahun (Laia), Roger Coma (Roger) and Mercè Martínez (Natàlia).
The session will be moderated by Agnès Marquès.
