The French animator and scriptwriter Émilie Tronche attends the 11th Serielizados Fest to share with the audience her experience as the creator of ‘Samuel’, the animated series of the year. The session will be moderated by the animator Rocío Quillahuaman.
The animated series Samuel, available on 3Cat and RTVE, has been one of the revelations of the year. Although it looks like a children’s series, Samuel is much more than that. It is a series that narrates with great beauty and plasticity what it means to stop being a child and how first love opens the doors to a new terrifying but also magical world.
Its creator, Émilie Tronche, will attend the festival to talk to the audience about the process of conception and creation of the series, both from a narrative and visual point of view, and about how she approached this original journey to childhood full of introspection, humor and music.
The session will include the screening of some episodes of the series and will be moderated by the animator and scriptwriter Rocío Quillahuaman, creator of more than 500 satirical animations and author of the autobiographical book Marrón.
