When his wife abruptly leaves him, Frank De Jong, a cautious fraud expert who has always played by the rules, faces a harsh reality: the world is not as honest as he believed. Determined to reinvent himself, Frank partners with his complete opposite, Chris De Wolf, a charming and bold twenty-something who effortlessly manipulates people and thrives on small scams.
As Frank combines his deep knowledge of the insurance industry with Chris’s bold and persuasive tactics, they begin to carry out lucrative schemes. For the first time in his life, Frank breaks the rules and becomes a criminal mastermind. But his newfound success comes with a small reminder: some things in life are beyond control… and not everything can be insured.
In the vein of shows like Breaking Bad, the Belgian series Let’s Be Frank blends thriller and comedy through a frenetic narrative.
