‘Dates in real life’ (Out of competition)

Serielizados Fest premieres in Spain the winner of the award for Best Series in the Panorama Section of the last Series Mania festival.

Ida spends most of her life on the Internet. When her boyfriend Marvin, whom she has never seen in person, suddenly announces that he is dating another woman, her world collapses. That’s when Ida sets out on a mission to find her own physical partner, never giving up hope of getting back together with Marvin.

Dates in Real Life is the delicate and poignant coming-of-age story of an introverted young woman. Forced to abandon the comfort of the artificial world and virtual love, its protagonist must face the real world and try to find happiness and a space of her own in it. A series with a new narrative and visual format that dares to question romantic relationships in the age of the metaverse.
