Serielizados Fest exclusively premieres the UK’s new breakout comedy, a story of female friendship marked by mental illness and starring Nicola Coughlan (Derry Girls, Bridgerton) and Lydia West (Years and Years)
Maggie and Eddie have been best friends for 10 years. Maggie’s career as a playwright has stalled and her bipolar disorder is causing extreme mood swings, making her impulsive, even dangerous. Meanwhile, Eddie’s business is on the rocks, her ex is back on the scene and being Maggie’s best friend is getting harder and harder.
Although it may not seem so from the synopsis, Big Mood is the new comedy revelation in the UK. A tale of female friendship in the vein of Broad City and with two such overwhelming protagonists as Nicola Coughlan (main actress in Derry Girls and official scene-stealer in Bridgerton) and Lydia West (known for her participation in the series Years and Years and It’s a Sin). Created by playwright Camilla Whitehill.
