Serielizados Fest presents the image for its 10th edition and puts tickets on sale

Serielizados and serielizades… We are celebrating! Our tenth edition is coming and we face it with great enthusiasm and very good news.

Over the last ten years, SERIELIZADOS has become a reference in the analysis, dissemination and promotion of the most important stories and creators of serialized fiction. Our goal has always been to create a meeting place for creators, producers, academics and fans of the series to talk and share their ideas (and vices).

This year, for the tenth edition of SERIELIZADOS FEST, Rafael Esteban Trujillo, better known as Rafillo, has been in charge of creating the poster. Rafillo has managed to make a place for himself in the networks thanks to animated pieces of overflowing originality. His animations, such as Querida Conchi, the bizarre comedy webseries that follows the life of an elderly couple, have caught the attention of American television channels such as Cartoon Network (Adult Swim) and Fox.

For this tenth edition, the festival will present series from platforms and channels such as Movistar Plus+, HBO Max, CaixaForum+, ATRESMEDIA, FILMIN, AMC and AMC SELEKT’s SundanceTV, TV3 and RTVE, among others. The festival is sponsored by Cervezas Ambar and CUPRA. The venues in Barcelona will be the CCCB (Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona), CASA SEAT, Sala Phenomena, the Auditori de la Facultat de Comunicació i Relacions Internacionals Blanquerna-URL and the Fundació SGAE. In Madrid the festival will be held at Círculo de Bellas Artes, Cinesa Proyecciones and Academia de Cine.

And stay tuned, because the next edition of Serielizados Fest will have as its main guest, none other than Jesse Amstrong, British creator and showrunner of Succession.

Amstrong will visit Madrid and Barcelona to give two talks, one open to the general public (Barcelona, October 21), and the other for audiovisual professionals and students (Madrid, October 24); both activities are supported by the Spain Film Commission.

Serielizados Fest started in 2014 gathering 400 people and had as special guest Javier Olivares, creator of El ministerio del Tiempo and the premiere of the French series of ARTE Churchmen. In its subsequent editions, the festival was attended by such prominent names as: Dan Harmon, creator of Rick and Morty and Community; David Simon, creator of The Wire, The Deuce or The City is Ours; Tony Grisoni, Leonardo Fasoli, Maddalena Ravagli and Ludovica Rampoldi, creators and creators of Gomorrah and The Young Pope; Jeppe Gjervig creator of Borgen; Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad; Steve Pemberton creator and star of Inside nº9; Paul Abbot creator of Shameless; Damon Lindelof creator of Lost, The Leftovers and Watchmen; Sally Wainwright creator of Happy Valley; filmmaker Werner Herzog or the creator of Mindhunter, Joe Penhall, among many other showrunners and artists reaching more than 350 guests since 2014.

In addition to national and international guests, Serielizados Fest has premiered more than 270 titles, some as outstanding as: The White Lotus (T2), La Ruta, Cardo, Dopesick, Fear The Walking Dead, La amiga estupenda, Esterno Notte, True Detective (T2), What We Do in the shadows, The Boys, We are lady parts or Transparent, among others.

The 10th edition of the International Series Festival will take place from October 17 to 21 in Barcelona, from October 24 to 28 in Madrid, and from 17 to 29 online at FILMIN, where it is the second most watched online festival in Spain with 158,000 viewers in 2022.
