Today, 20 years after that phenomenon that left no one indifferent, we get an exclusive documentary about the series’ legacy. It’s Getting LOST, which premiered internationally at the last Serielizados Fest in October 2024.

After its two in-person screenings in Barcelona, Serielizados Fest and Filmin decided to bring back the highly requested documentary to continue delighting fans of the series at the end of the year. Getting LOST will be available on the platform (which usually hosts the online version of Serielizados Fest every year) until January 6.

When Lost premiered, it sparked a series frenzy, wild theories, and online discussions, becoming the breeding ground for a series consumption culture that has partly shaped the way we binge-watch today. The documentary film Getting LOST, explores the lasting impact of the series on its fan community and those who made it possible.

The documentary, directed by Taylor Morden (The Last Blockbuster), highlights the influence of Lost on the television landscape and features unique interviews, 20 years later, with much of the cast, including Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway, and Terry O’Quinn, its creators J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof, and Carlton Cuse, and composer Michael Giacchino, among others. A true treat for fans of the series, perfect for the end of the year or as a special holiday gift.
