The International TV Series Festival opens its edition in Ibiza: Serielizados Fest Santa Eulària des Riu

The International TV Series Festival together with the Santa Eulària des Riu City Council (Ibiza) organize the first edition of the Serielizados Fest Santa Eulària des Riu, which will take place from May 27 to 29, 2022. For three days, the island will host the premiere of national and international series in our country, first-rate guest talks and a live podcast.

Following the line of the autumn editions of Barcelona and Madrid, the Serielizados Fest Santa Eulària des Riu has already confirmed the first big guests, such as Darko Perić (La casa de papel), and Carlos Cuevas (Merlí and Merlí: Sapere Aude). Cuevas will talk about his career and his role in Merlí with the cultural journalist Alba Riera and the actor Iñaki Mur. On the other hand, Darko Peric, who has jumped onto the international scene thanks to his role as Helsinki in La Casa de Papel, will be the star guest of the live show of La Ruina, one of the most popular podcasts in Spain, presented by comedians Tomàs Fuentes and Ignasi Taltavull.

The Serializados Fest Santa Eulària des Riu will also feature interactive workshops. In this edition, we will be dedicated to the make-up of the Euphoria series with the Cazcarra school of professional make-up. During this workshop, makeup professionals will teach the techniques used in the popular HBO series, which earned them the Emmy Award for Best Makeup in 2020. Few series have made such a markan impact on pop culture in terms of makeup design and hairstyles of the characters as Euphoria has done in its two seasons.

The Serializados Fest Santa Eulària des Riu will be held from May 27 to 29 at the Centro Cultural de Jesús (CCdJ) and Teatro España in Santa Eulària des Riu. 

The list of national and international productions that will premiere in this new edition, as well as the rest of the guests who will attend the event in person, will be announced shortly.

In its last edition, it brought together more than 230,000 spectators on the online platform, in addition to the 6,500 people who attended the face-to-face sessions scheduled in Barcelona and Madrid, which positions the event as the second most watched online festival in the country.
