INTRODUCTION<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

SERIELIZADOS <\/b>launches the first edition of <\/span>MIND THE GAP<\/b>, the international pitch for series co-productions, within the framework of <\/span>Serielizados Fest<\/b>, the International Series Festival of Barcelona.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MIND THE GAP<\/b> is supported by the<\/span> Institut Catal\u00e0 de les Empreses Culturals<\/span><\/i> (Government of Catalonia) and the SGAE Foundation, SGAE Foundation, through the Territorial Council of the General Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE) of Catalonia. Collaborators include ECAM (Madrid Film and Audiovisual School), Seriencamp, G\u00f6teborg Film Festival, the Swedish Institute, and the Embassy of Sweden in Spain.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”3″ css=”” accent_color=”#AC712C”][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

OBJETIVE<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

The objective of MIND THE GAP is to support series projects in covering the final stretch of their financing, giving them international visibility and promoting European co-productions and international sales.<\/span><\/p>\n

HOW DOES IT WORK?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

10 projects will take part in a pitch in front of media industry professionals attending Serielizados Fest, where they will receive questions and feedback from an international jury composed of commissioners, sales agents, broadcasters, and European platforms. The jury will select one winning project, which will receive a 5,500\u20ac prize.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After the pitch, the selected projects will have the opportunity to participate in one-to-one meetings scheduled by the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

PARTICIPANTS<\/b><\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n

The call is open to legally established production companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Out of the 10 selected projects, 7 will be chosen from this open call by a committee of screenwriters and script analysts appointed by the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The remaining 3 will be selected from participants in Seriencamp Co-Production Pitch, ECAM Forum, and a Swedish project chosen in collaboration with the G\u00f6teborg Film Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The decision will be final and announced during the first half of September.<\/span><\/p>\n
